Prince William: AVAILABLE!

Yep - Prince William - future king has split with his girlfriend (and speculated future queen) Kate Middleton - according to a spokesman of the Prince and Britain's The Sun newspaper - who first reported Saturday that the pair had reached an "amicable agreement" to separate. . People.com has also confirmed in fact that the 5 year royal romance is over.

Some say that the two were just spending too much time apart - others say it was the "Diana-like" attention that Kate had began to get - since engagement rumors had started. It had to be rough to be considered possible royalty and to be looked at under the microscope by the media all of a sudden.

So - anyway - if Prince William is your kind of man - and you have a strong desire to rule over others - your ship might have just come in!
