David Beckam's 2009 Calendar - Keeping It Covered Handsomely!

Well it looks like "calendar season" is beginning to gear up! The latest celebrity version that will be hitting your local bookstore - David Beckham! And it looks like the soccer star has decided to go in a "different" direction for 2009. Never afraid to show some skin in the past - this year he's giving a more clothed version for all his fans to enjoy on a monthly basis.

Yep - not a shirtless shot in sight. Which strangely - we don't seem to mind. The shots are nicely done - and still easy on the eyes - even without the usual exposure. I mean - you have to admit that Becks is a pretty damn gorgeous man - clothed or unclothed. And we still get some nice views of those arms, some pretty hot ink - and that incredible face! Plus - you know how we're a sucker for some scruff!

We're guessing that David feels we've gotten enough of that body of his from all the exposure those Armani ads gave us - and that a little "absence makes the heart grow fonder" needed to be exercised.

EVEN MORE David Beckham - "Trail-tastic" In Armani!

A few more HOT SHOTS of soccer star - David Beckham for the Armani Exchange underwear line have been released! Not a bad way to wrap up June! We're loving these additions - they give the athlete a chance to show off one off his best features - that Beckham treasure trail! Which is on full display in both of these new B/W shots! Lookin' pretty good - and right up our alley. And we're not even going to mention the (very controversial) bulge that David is sporting! Many are screaming FOUL - saying that it's more padding than Beckham. But I say - who cares? It's not like we're ever going to see the real thing - so let's all just sit back and enjoy the view. Whether it's real or not - shouldn't be our concern. This guy looks great in underwear - so let's just soak it all in!

BRAND NEW David Beckham Armani Underwear Ad - PART II

As promised - here's another BRAND NEW shot from David Beckham's Armani stint! And it's another scorcher! Like I said in the previous post - Beckham was on hand at Macy's in San Fransisco last night to reveal the new shots from his Emporio Armani contract.

This shot is actually the one that was revealed on the side of the Macy's building yesterday! Looking really good - large and in charge!! Definitely a traffic stopper! Beckham was also on hand to sign autographs and meet fans during the campaign launch!

SPOTTED @ The Beach: David Beckham

David Beckham is at it again! Fresh off his shirtless trip to Africa - the athlete showed up on a Brazilian beach in Cabo Sao Roque - quite shirtless doing a "kickabout" with a soccerball during the sunset. His visit was part of a weekend unveiling of a new soccer project - The David Beckham World of Sports. The camp will feature eight soccer fields and facilities for top athletes - along with a scholarship program for kids.

But anyway - almost as a requirement now - Beckham gave the crowd what they wanted: Him - no shirt. Ah - shirtless Beckham on the beach is always a nice sight! Enjoy ALL the scenery!

David Beckham Gives The Shirt Off His Back For UNICEF!

It's always nice to see a celeb use their fame for a good cause. This is the case for soccer star - David Beckham. As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador - Beckham traveled to Sierra Leone, West Africa - to focus attention on the issue of child survival in the region.

“We can’t turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world mostly from causes that are preventable,” Beckham said. “Surely there is no reward more precious than saving the life of a child?” he continued, “Their futures remain in our hands.”

Beckham gave out soccer balls to the village - and even got down (and shirtless) - playing a few games and giving out pointers. Nice to see a person using their fame for more than just late night club visits and Hollywood premieres.

SPOTTED: David Beckham

One thing I like about David Beckham - he never fails to give his fans what they want! Fans in Australia could barely contain themselves as the soccer star took a break after a "friendly" exhibition game - and pulled off his jersey. Giving everyone an eyeful of that Beckham torso! Which (though a little skinny) always looks good - IMO!

And say what you want - but Beckham's got a hot trail! He might keep the chest smooth - but he always sports that hotness below. And AS YOU CAN TELL - I'm a fan of "the trail"!

David Beckham Gives His MLS Debut - Shirtless!!

After a LONG wait - David Beckham finally made his L.A. Galaxy debut last night as he entered the field in the 72nd minute of their game against the Washington DC United at RFK Stadium. His team ended up losing 1-0.

Even though Beckham has not exactly played as much as fans would have hoped so far (thanks to an old ankle injury) - Beckham’s soccer debut was the biggest attraction for a foreign player since Pele, as the sellout crowd of 46,686 was the fourth largest in RFK Stadium’s history and more than double the top attendance mark by any other MLS soccer club this year.

Even though they lost - the soccer star still gave his fans a nice thrill - pulling off his shirt on the field - making the crowd roar louder than they did anytime during the game.

David Beckham's GALAXY DEBUT!

David Beckham made his American Soccer debut on Saturday with the LA Galaxy taking on England's Chelsea. Well - 12 minutes worth of debut, I guess. The soccer star was/is tending to an ankle injury he first received last season in Spain. Beckham could not be cleared physically for the entire game by the teams medical - so instead of making a million dollar mistake - they decided to just let him play for a short period of time.
The time he was on the field was enough for the 27,000 fans who turned up. Beckham took the field for the first time amongst an explosion of flashbulbs and a standing ovation. They also burst into cheers each time David touched the ball during play.
Also in attendance was Victoria Beckham (of course) - and their three sons. Also - sitting with Posh in the stands were Katie Holmes with daughter Suri, and Eva Longoria.
I'm really loving both of the Beckhams. I have to admit - I've totally fallen under whatever spell they have cast on everyone. This isn't going to become "The Big Bad Beckham Blog" - but I am really liking them both!! He's literally getting hotter by the minute and after watching her NBC special - Victoria has totally shown that she is hilarious and doesn't take herself too seriously. I didn't expect to like her - but I did! Oh - and did I mention that he's HOT AS HELL! So sue me - I like 'em!

Anyway - take a look at the man of the hour himself - David Beckham. Looking as fine as ever! Good luck with his US Soccer career!
