Both Films are Opening This Friday - March 2nd!

Justin vs. Jake

IT'S ON!

Who do you choose??

Calvin Klein Newest Underwear Model - Djimon Hounsou!

Yep - Calvin Klein execs announced on Friday that their next underwear campaign will feature two-time Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou. Back in the day it was the other way around - first the underwear modeling THEN the Oscar Nom - right?
Anyway - obviously CK has good taste when it comes to their celeb models - and they have a very impressive list. Other than the classic Mark Wahlberg campaign - there have been Travis Fimmel, Antonio Sabato Jr., and Michael Bergin - to name a few.

Below check out some past classic celeb underwear campaigns CK has blessed us with in the past. Hounsou has some pretty big shoes to fill - but I do believe he has the body for the job.

Enjoy!

SNEAK PEAK: Justin Timberlake Sexing it Up in "Black Snake Moan"

Justin Timberlake's next film - "Black Snake Moan" opens on March 2nd. The film also stars Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson.

What's significant about this release? Well - take a look at this sneak peak scene below with JT and Ricci - and you'll see!

It doesn't show much - but it should be a HUGE treat to all those fellow Timberlake fans.

It definitely makes me want to go see this movie - ASAP!!

Enjoy!

Daniel Radcliffe Takes The "Equus" Stage!

You've seen the shockingly hot promotional photos of Daniel Ratcliffe HERE and HERE - now see him on the actual stage!

Ratcliffe's play "Equus" opened on February 16th in London to great reviews to sold out performances. The promotional photos did cause somewhat of an uproar here in the US - with those that were offended by the recent "exposure of Harry Potter (I guess the only way they can see the actor) and say that they are are going to boycott Ratcliffe's next Potter film "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". I am sure the studios are real scared....Anyway - here are the production photos from Daniel on stage just last week. It definitely looks like an interesting play. I say - good for Ratcliffe - he deserves to get out from under Potter's shadow.

It definitely seems to suit him.

Enjoy!

SPOTTED @ The Oscars: Mark Wahlberg

Ok - so maybe Daniel Craig wasn't the only "hot guy" at the Oscars!! Here is Best Supporting Actor Nominee Mark Wahlberg with date Rhea Durham arriving on the red carpet yesterday. Unfortunately, Mark lost his Oscar to Alan Arkin - but let me ask you this....

When you look like he does - do you really need an Oscar?!?

Enjoy!

SPOTTED @ The Oscars: Daniel Craig

Looking DAMN GOOD at the Oscars!!

Here's another shot of 007 from last night - with current girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell.
He was the hottest guy there last night (Jake didn't attend...) and he can wear the hell out of that tux!!

Enjoy!

The 79th Academy Awards - The Winners!!

What a great night! What a great Oscars!! Some past Academy Awards telecasts have fallen flat, gotten dull, or just awarded the wrong people - but NOT tonight!!

Host Ellen Degeneres was spot-on hilarious and did a perfect job keeping the telecast flowing. There were show-stopping performances from "Dreamgirls" - Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce! They really tore up their mutual duets - each singing parts of each others songs!! And the ones who deserved to win - did. And one was LONG OVERDUE!

The show was definitely well done - and I was entertained throughout!!
Here are the big acting winners from last night!! (including the big Best Supporting Actor Shocker!!)

Best Actor
Forest Whitaker
"The Last King of Scotland"

Best Actress
Helen Mirren
"The Queen"

Best Supporting Actor
Alan Arkin
"Little Miss Sunshine"

Best Supporting Actress
Jennifer Hudson
"Dreamgirls"

You can see a complete list of winners HERE.

Also - if you missed Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce's "Dreamgirls" nominated songs compilation - you must see it here!

Congrats to all the winners!! All and all - a really great show!!

Justin Loses Shirt In Tampa!!

Thank goodness for those warm days in Tampa, FL.! Summer's not even close yet - but we still get to see some shirtless Justin Timberlake taking a break while on tour in The Sunshine State! Here's Justin enjoying some rooftop sunshine with his cousin on Friday, Feb. 23rd.

Now you know I love me some Justin - and don't get me wrong - a shirtless Justin is a smoking hot Justin - no doubt.

But the boy's got to get some sun.

Enjoy!

Oscar Weekend Predictions - Who Will Win? Who Should Win?

It's Oscar Time again!

Although some are saying this will be the lowest rated Oscar telecast - mainly because the lack of the big blockbuster movies in the running - I think that not having a "Titanic" this year is a good change. Most of the categories are pretty much locks this year - EXCEPT Best Picture. Honestly - that is the category prediction I'm worried about.

It always makes the show better when you don't know what the final act is. And this year - Best Picture could go to any of them.

So - here are our official Oscar Predictions for Sunday. Also - you can get a printable Oscar ballot - so you can predict your own HERE.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role

Adriana Barraza in “Babel”

Cate Blanchett in “Notes on a Scandal”

Abigail Breslin in “Little Miss Sunshine”

Jennifer Hudson in “Dreamgirls

Rinko Kikuchi in “Babel”

I don't want to jinx anything - but if there was one "sure thing" this year - it's this one. There is only one actress who really has all the buzz on this one. A shocker is always possible (ahem - "Crash") - but I think we all know who will probably be taking home an Oscar Sunday night.

Will Win: Jennifer Hudson - "Dreamgirls"
Should Win: Jennifer Hudson - "Dreamgirls"

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role

Alan Arkin in “Little Miss Sunshine”

Jackie Earle Haley in “Little Children”

Djimon Hounsou in “Blood Diamond”

Eddie Murphy in “Dreamgirls

Mark Wahlberg in “The Departed”

Alot of people think this one is a lock also - but I don't think so. Eddie Murphy's role in "Dreamgirls" gave his early buzz and a Golden Globe - but it has lost some steam as of late. Murphy's current release "Norbit" could have something to do with that. But I definitely think Mark Wahlberg was incredible as Det. Dingam and truly deserves the award. He (like Hudson) controlled every scene he is in. Your eyes go directly to him. Really good performance.
Will Win: Eddie Murphy - "Dreamgirls"
Should Win: Mark Wahlberg - "The Departed"

Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role

Penélope Cruz in “Volver

Judi Dench in “Notes on a Scandal”

Helen Mirren in “The Queen”

Meryl Streep in “The Devil Wears Prada

Kate Winslet in “Little Children”

I believe Mirren has this in the bag - she was phenomenal as Queen Elizabeth II - and it is about time this actress has her own award.

Will Win: Helen Mirren - "The Queen"
Should Win: Helen Mirren - "The Queen"

Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role

Leonardo DiCaprio in “Blood Diamond”

Ryan Gosling in “Half Nelson”

Peter O’Toole in “Venus”

Will Smith in “The Pursuit of Happyness

Forest Whitaker in “The Last King of Scotland”

This is pretty much a two man race - and one is pretty far ahead. Forest Whitaker won raves and a Golden Globe for his performance in "The Last King of Scotland" - many saying he truly captured the evil of the dictator. But believe it or not - Peter O'Toole has never won an Oscar in his 51 years in movies - and he has been in some good stuff - "Lawrence of Arabia," "The Last Emperor," "Troy" and "Supergirl" - ok maybe not "Supergirl" but you get the picture. So I would not be surprised at all if O'Toole gets it.

Will Win: Forest Whitaker - "The Last King of Scotland"
Should Win: Forest Whitaker - "The Last King of Scotland"

Best Picture

"Babel"

"The Departed"

"Letters from Iwo Jima"

"Little Miss Sunshine"

"The Queen"

Like I said - this is the one to call. It's only really between three pics - "Babel", "Departed" and "Queen". But it is REALLY CLOSE. Whatever movie is the winner - we'll probably be surprised. But I have mixed what I have read about the race, past Oscar traditions and my own gut feeling - and this is how I am calling it.

Will Win: "The Departed"
Should Win: "Babel"

Here are a couple of other quick predictions:

Best Director: Martin Scorsese - "The Departed"

Best Animated Feature - "Happy Feet"

Best Documentary Feature - “An Inconvenient Truth”
Best Foreign Language Film - “Pan’s Labyrinth” Best Original Screenplay - “Pan's Labyrinth

Best Adapted Screenplay - "The Departed"

Hope everyone enjoys Sunday's show!!
