It's Time For A Little Jake Gyllenhaal Catch-Up!!

Of course - during our absence last week - our main man held an unusually high profile! So - we've got some Jake Gyllenhaal catch-up to play! Jake was caught out and about - and looking (as always) - fine as hell! Not only out with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon this last Thursday in Santa Monica, but also (as you'll see below) - back in his Spandex Splendor from 2006!! (Thank you warm weather!)

But first - this last Thursday. The pair was out shopping and looking fashionably cool. And if my guy looked like Jake - I'd be holding on for dear life like Reese here! Surely - by gazing into those hot aviator glasses and making sure the buttons on the top of his shirt don't work - she knows what she's got there! Ok - now to a week from this last Saturday - the pair were out for a casual bike ride in Venice, CA and like I said - Jake brought back the spandex! And from the looks of it - some nicely plumped delts! Very nice! A whole package - click each below and enjoy the incredible view!

Lastly - but not leastly - Jake's next project was announced on Tuesday and I'm sure everyone knows by now: Disney's and Jerry Bruckheimer's "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" - a fantasy adventure epic based on the video game franchise. From EW.com:


Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince of 6th Century Persia, who pairs up with Tamina, a princess to be played by new Bond girl Gemma Arterton, to prevent a nobleman from acquiring the Sands of Time -- a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.


So yeah - we're stoked. Especially when "Dastan" looks like this:

Yeah - I think Jake can make that look work - and I'll be the first in line opening night! Filming is set to begin in Morocco in July! With a Summer 2009 release date! Definitely something to look forward to!!
