Olympic Hero Michael Phelps - He Did What He Came To Do!

We not sure if you heard or not - but there was a little Olympic history made over the weekend! Our man - Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps picked up his 8th gold medal for these 2008 Beijing Olympic Games! A record for any Olympic athlete! Phelps was up for 8 events - and won gold in each of them! 8 races - 8 gold medals! Doesn't get much more perfect than that!

It couldn't have happened to a better guy! Phelps is now officially in the history books - and will no doubt go down as one of the greatest of all time! Phelps also passed former Olympic swimmer - Mark Spitz's 36-year-old record of 7 golds in a single Olympiad!

"Phelps Fever" is in full effect! We couldn't be prouder of the guy! Of course - we've been fans of this guy's "body" of work way before all the hype! Good to see the rest of the world catch on!

There are just few athletes who have reached the pinnacle of their sport - and even fewer still who look as good as Phelps did doing it! Of course - add a perfect Olympic body with his guy's natural skill - and you've got our kind of athlete! He's definitely a little bit hotter to us - just cause he's SO GOOD as what he does! Of course, the 23-year-old, lean muscular 6'4", 200lb body in nothing but a speedo - probably doesn't hurt!

So congrats to Michael Phelps! He came. He saw. He won! The greatest feat in Olympic history!
