Lost 3.01 - "A Tale of Two Cities"

So "Lost - Season Three" has begun.

Mind-blowing doesn't even begin to describe this incredible season premiere - penned by "Lost" creator, JJ Abrams. (The first episode he has written since the groundbreaking Pilot.)

Here's how it went down....

Meet Juliet.

A common housewife - with book clubs, burnt muffins and friendly neighbors.

Or not.

She's an Other. And she lives on the island. The Others home is an idyllic neighborhood - smack dab in the middle of "Craphole Island"!

It is a flashback to the beginning of the series - we see Oceanic Flight 815 crash - from "The Others" perspective.

AWESOME SEQUENCE.

And we get a little idea of where "The Others" camp is in compared to where the two pieces of the plane crashed.

When we start in the present time - we pick up right where the the finale left off....

Our captured survivors have been separated.

Jack is being held in an glass cell.

Sawyer is in a "bear cage" (polar bear maybe?)

And Kate is instructed to shower and change clothes. She is then taken to a seaside breakfast with Faux Henry Gale.

Where he tells her to prepare for "the very difficult weeks ahead."

The flashbacks are Jack's in this episode. We see Jack obsessed to find out who his wife is leaving him for. Is it Christian - Jack's dad?

Sarah - Jack's wife. "It is not who it is...it is who you are not."

Seriously - who would cheat on and leave this guy?!??

Here are some of the revelations this episode gave us:

Another Dharma Hatch - The Hydra.

Which is underwater and where Jack is being held.

Faux Henry Gale's real name is..........Ben.

All and all - the season premiere DID NOT disappoint.

So glad "Lost" is back!!! Can't wait to see where this season takes us!

That is it for now. Next Week - 3.02 "The Glass Ballerina" - A Jin/Sun-centric episode.

See ya then!
